Jessica Jones Star Says It Will Be Hard To Return To The MCU

Characters from Marvel TV’s “DefendersVerse” are slowly returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the likes of Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) returning to reprise their roles in the franchise. There has been recent speculation that Jessica Jones (Kristen Ritter) would soon join the mix, leading some to believe that Marvel Studios could include Kilgrave (David Tennant) in some form, manner, or form.

As Tennant now says, fans may not want to be so fast with these ideas. During a spotlight panel like FAN EXPO Boston, Doctor from The graduate admitted that he felt it would be “difficult” to return to the franchise given the idiosyncrasy of the villain. However, Tennant added, he would like to see some of the writers behind the franchise try to engage his character in some way.

There were also rumors of Jones appearing in Strong woman. Series star Kat Cuero joked that anyone within the Marvel Cinematic Universe could appear in the nine-episode series at one point or another.

“Okay, put that outside!” Cuero said about Marvel inscription In a recent interview with Tara Hitchcock. “Let’s get Thor to come visit She-Hulk! I think the one I think best fit in the world is on the show. I actually think Jessica Jones would be a good addition.”

“Every character in the MCU who was on this show had to adjust from being into more serious things to being into something more outrageous,” Cuero added. “And they’re all great actors and they’re all very good at adapting, but it was definitely fun to watch this transition and fun to watch as they go ‘Oh, it’s okay for me to do this?'” The biggest question they all ask me is, “Am I going too far?” And I say, “Not at all! Go further!”

DefendersVerse is now streaming in full on Disney+.
